Somewhere in the Canadian Rockies - My husband took the picture

For eight years, Heidi had the opportunity of working alongside skilled engineers and business professionals at an energy management department inside a major Alberta energy company. Through the brilliance and dedication of her team, as well as affiliate energy management experts, she was able to learn most of what she knows about energy efficiency and conservation today. At the energy company, she held a position as an energy analyst for several years that evolved into the department's education & outreach coordinator. Each day she reached homeowners and renters with energy saving messages via presentations, print publications, radio and television shows, on-line support and over the phone.

In her prior experience, Heidi worked for a few years as a marketing officer inside the Office of Energy Efficiency at Natural Resources Canada, acquiring the basics of home energy management.

Heidi possesses a Communications Degree, a Business Administration Diploma (Specializing in Environmental Waste Management), and a Technical Writing Certificate. Heidi also took a few technical courses at the local college on HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning).
